Does anyone know how to make a model ship?

well i have this historica topic , bluenose the schooner. and i have to build it somehow, how should i build it?? cardboard?

1. Go to an art's and Craft shop. Buy a block of Balsa wood, you can easily cut the profiles then shape them with sand paper. It would be easier if you do a waterline model. That's just the part above the waterline. It means you don't have to do the keel and it will sit flat nicely on a wood base. You'll also be able to buy thin dowel material to use for mast and spars.
