how to make a wooden ship model?

Can someone help me please. I'm interested in building my own wooden ship but i can't find the kits or ship plans anywhere. btw im from Malaysia. So if anyone can tell me where to get the kits or plans, type of wood, equipments and that kinda stuff to build a wooden ship model, whether its from a website or from a shop, please let me know. Thanks.

1. Wooden ship kits is quite difficult to get, if you can get the blueprint of a ship (from craft magazine) you can draw on thin balsa wood, cut and glue it is not easy but you can try, there is a shop I just found at The Garden Mid Vally, KL,it is on 3rd floor, I think you can find any thing you need there and the staff are knowledgeable, I am sure they can help you.
